Adhesive tape
- First, apply stain remover pretreatment (spray or stick pretreatments are better for oily stains) continue to soak in lukewarm water and apply heavy duty detergent if needed.
- For those extra difficult stains, apply dry cleaning solvent or bleach to the inside of the garment, place garment facedown on paper towels until dry, and then wash thoroughly.
After shave lotion
- Try to remove excess gunk without worsening the stain.
- Rinse (from inside out) or soak in cold water for 30 minutes or more.
- Apply liquid detergent, stain remover and/or enzyme cleaner.
- Wash on hottest temperature allowed for garment.
- If stain remains, repeat steps before drying.
- If garment can handle it, use chlorine bleach or oxidized bleach to remove remaining stain.
Airplane glue
- Rinse or soak in cool water ASAP this can take up to 30 minutes.
- Apply enzyme cleaner, stain remover, and/or liquid detergent to stain.
- If nothing worked, and the garment allows, wash in chlorine or oxygen bleach to eliminate remaining stain.
Alcoholic beverages
- Rinse or soak in cool water ASAP this can take up to 30 minutes.
- Apply enzyme cleaner, stain remover, and/or liquid detergent to stain.

Apples
- Rinse or soak in cool water ASAP this can take up to 30 minutes.
- Apply enzyme cleaner, stain remover, and/or liquid detergent to stain.

Antiperspirant
- Scrape off excess gunk.
- Dab stain with ammonia and water mixture.
- If stain persists, make a paste with baking soda and water or hydrogen peroxide and scrub it in with a toothbrush.
- You can also try two aspirins crushed in a half cup of hot water to pour onto the stain.
- Vinegar and water can also be used to pour onto, or soak with the stain.
- Wash clothes at regular settings.
Ashes

- Run cold water through the back of the stain.
- Apply dish-washing detergent to the stain (preferably from the back) and scrub in with a toothbrush.
- Add around 4 drops of vinegar to the stain.
- Wrap stain in paper towel and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Rinse with cold water and wash as normal.
Bleach
- Rinse or soak in cool water ASAP this can take up to 30 minutes.
- Apply enzyme cleaner, stain remover, and/or liquid detergent to stain.

Blood

- Brush or lightly strike clothes to remove as much of the loose dust as possible.

- Launder in hottest water the fabric will allow.
- If the stain remains after first wash, sponge the area with rubbing alcohol (natural stain remover for chalk) and wash again.
Charcoal
- Do NOT get stain wet or soak in water.

- Rinse the stain with cool water, preferably from the inside.

- Tamp stain with solution of hydrogen peroxide and dish soap.
- If all else fails mix dish soap with vinegar and scrub with an old toothbrush.
- Rinse with water and apply stain remover for about 10 minutes.
